Heart Happy Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on this Blog Hop with lots of ideas and tips for you.. A Blog Hop is a 'circular' group of Blogs that you 'Hop' to (or click the link to) that will give you lots of tips, techniques and inspiration for the topic of the Blog Hop.  I hope you enjoy your time with us as well as the projects.
If you came fro Becca Whitham’s Blog you are on the right track!

I was in need of a bag for a friend’s gift that I will give soon and this kit is just the ticket!
So here is my project for today:

I cut a piece of the Background and Texture Paper 11 1/2 x 9”, I scored the 11 1/2” side (this is butted up to the edge on the trimmer) at 4, 5 1/2, 9 1/2, 11”, then scored the 9” side at 1 1/2 and 7 1/2”. I also cut the paper (a few flaps off top, one corner off bottom and trim the bottom flaps up to the score line) to look like this:

I rounded the corners on the flap, adhered the 1/2” strip to the inside of ‘back’ of bag, adhered bottom flaps and just squished in the sides to close:

I am just using Tombow to close the bag, you could also use a Velcro circle if you want it to open and close again:

Just decorate and inset a fun gift! The bags are fun and easy to make! This paper and extras that come with it are so pretty and fun to play with! I hope you have as much fun as I am!

Hop on over to  Brenda Lapp’s Blog to enjoy more great projects.

CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Crazy About Cardstock

Crazy about this NEW Cardstock!! It is Fabulous! It's like we just DOUBLED our cardstock colors.

If you are coming from Darlys's website, you are on the right track. Thank you for joining us on this Blog Hop with lots of ideas and tips for you while using this great new Two-Tone Cardstock. I hope you enjoy your time with us and enjoy the projects.

For my project today I used the NEW birthday stamp set and NEW Cardstock to make a couple Birthday Bags for the gifts I gave this past weekend...gotta love how easy this is!

I used plain white bags from Michaels, they are 8" wide
6 1/4 x 8 light color side of Cardstock( Eggplant & Lagoon)
5 3/4 x 8 Background & Texture Paper (I used purple polka dots fundamentals (from last years Annual catalog) and Lagoon stripe from Lil' Dreamer (Expressions 2)
2 1/2 x 4 Matte for Sentiment (I used Dark side of Eggplant CS & Lagoon CS)
2 1/4 x 3 3/4 White Daisy CS for Sentiment (D1731 Eat Cake & Celebrate- Annual Inspirations book 2017-2018)
Eggplant and Lagoon Stamp pads

Adhere together and pop up sentiment with 3D Foam Dots (Z3342)

I also made coordinating tags using NEW tag Thincuts (Z3344 Basic Tags) and White Twine (Z3216)

Have Fun and be sure to post your version(s) here!! I would love to see them!
This is a great thing to use larger scraps for.

For your smaller scraps, you can make tags and I also made this cute little 3x3 card, it shows the coordinating colors a little better. This is Pixie cardstock with Adventure Fundamentals paper.

I just love how you get two coordinating colors with one cardstock! So  many great uses for this Fun cardstock!

Remember the Expressions 2 is being retired at the end of August 2017. Contact your consultant to get the items you want before they're gone.

If you are ready to hop to the next blog, check out Cats website!

Thanks for visiting!
Until next time, Create it from your Heart,
