I like rainbows so it's a good possibility that I love this paper pack! I used the Stamp of the Month 'Heartfelt Sentiments' and the Color of the Year 'Sugarplum'.
Here is my project for today:

I love the Heart pattern, I'm pretty sure it's not just because Valentine's Day has just passed, the pewter color speaks to me also and such a great pairing with the Sugarplum. I used Sage ink with a waterbrush for the leaves and the Sugarplum Shimmer Brush (which I tried to show in the second picture, it's so hard to get the sparkly fun in photos). I popped up the ribbon sentiment with foam tape.
This is a very clean and simple card and I think it turned out great.

I took the route of layering the paper, pattern and cardstock, to get my layered look.
Here is my project for today:

I really loved the Dinosaur stamp set as soon as I saw it and living by places where we can go see Dino tracks and Dinosaur World was another great reason to get them so I can finish our scrapbook pages! Today I made a Birthday card with one of them.
I adhered the clover light side cardstock at the top of the card and the dino track pattern paper at the bottom of the card, then layered it with a zip strip (piece you cut off the top of the pattern papers) which I had layered on twine with the mini stapler.
I then stamped my dinosaur in pewter ink, layered that on top of the background stamped in pewter ink and adhered that to the light side of pewter cardstock and layered the entire piece on the card with foam tape.



The second image I layered a lot of the same way except I put foam tape at the top end of the balloon to layer the embellishing thread behind it and also so it looks like it is floating off the card (the bottom of the balloon is adhered with tombow so it lays flat against the card which also allowed me to stamp the balloon string over the bottom of it and going off the edge of the card).

I was in need of a bag for a friend’s gift that I will give soon and this kit is just the ticket!
So here is my project for today:

I cut a piece of the Background and Texture Paper 11 1/2 x 9”, I scored the 11 1/2” side (this is butted up to the edge on the trimmer) at 4, 5 1/2, 9 1/2, 11”, then scored the 9” side at 1 1/2 and 7 1/2”. I also cut the paper (a few flaps off top, one corner off bottom and trim the bottom flaps up to the score line) to look like this:


I rounded the corners on the flap, adhered the 1/2” strip to the inside of ‘back’ of bag, adhered bottom flaps and just squished in the sides to close:


I am just using Tombow to close the bag, you could also use a Velcro circle if you want it to open and close again:


Just decorate and inset a fun gift! The bags are fun and easy to make! This paper and extras that come with it are so pretty and fun to play with! I hope you have as much fun as I am!

Here is my project for today:
I decided to make a little treat box, it is 2 1/2” on each side So it is big enough for quite a few different goodies.

This is the top with the sentiment 


Here I tried it with a different sentiment


This is the final version, I used cardstock for the base and then added the Background and Texture Paper.



I cut the paper 10 1/2 x 7 1/2” 
I then scored the 10 1/2” side (this side is butted up to the edge on the trimmer) at 2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2, 10”
Then I scored the 7 1/2” side at 2 1/2, 5 and 7”

I have needed some Sympathy cards for a while now, I am behind with things at the moment (It’s just the way my ball bounces)! So I thought this was a good stamp set to use, I just adore it!
Here is my project for today:

I used the Feels like Home paper pack, the Tag Thin Cut set, Charcoal Ink, Sage Ink (applied with water brush) and Sugarplum Ink. I also used the White Ribbon and Silver Embellishing Thread.

I am going to make a 5 x 7 version and see how that looks too!

I am in love with the first paper pack and Dino stamps in this Idea Book!

Living in Texas we have been to the Dinosaur World as well as stayed at a bed and breakfast in Granbury that has there own Dino’s!! So this will be SO awesome for our scrapbooks!

Today I chose a different route though, I don’t know about you but in my world, January means the start of lots of Birthdays!

I used Pattern 1 in the Volume 4 Make It from your Heart pattern book.

So here is my project today:



I used the Something Fierce - Cardmaking stamp set with the Something Fierce Paper Pack. I used Bluebird Ink, Charcoal Ink  and Clover Ink.

For the focal sentiment I inked up the image with sponge daubers and breathed on it to remoisten the ink just before stamping on the White Daisy cardstock (4 x  5 1/4”).

 I used my piece of ribbon as a guide to know how much room I had to stamp the image:


Then I stamped on the ribbon, added some banners from the paper pack that I trimmed and stapled the ribbon over the top of the banners. Then I used foam tape to adhere the panel to the Light side of Bluebird Cardstock and to the card front.


I used the star zip strip from the paper pack and stamped my sentiment with confetti inside:


This time I also needed a Ggoft Card holder so I cut Clover Cardstock to 5 5/8 x 4” (I typically cut at 6 x 4) and used the border Thin Cuts to cut a tear edge on the top (small) panel.


Fold on the score lines, add adhesive the sides of the bottom large section (approx. 1/4” on each side) and fold up to adhere. Adhere 1 3/4 x 3 3/4” paper to front panel, add gift card and seal closed (below the tear off portion).


I wanted to spruce it up a little, so I added a little belly band by wrapping the White Ribbon around the left edge and I adhered it with Tombow Tape Runner to itself (not to the gift card holder as I want them to be able to remove it before tearing off the opening)


I added a bow with a glue dot to cover the seam. Now it’s all ready to go!


Here I added some Silver Glitter Gems

Here is my project for today:

I don’t know about where you live, but here in Texas it is starting to look like Winter! So I think about Blue and Gray colors for my Winter projects which I’m sure is why I picked Mink as the color I wanted to use. The 4 color choice I chose includes: Mink Pewter, Carolina and Sapphire. I really like this color combo!

If you know my Husband and I, we get into astronomy a little, so if you hang out with us for a while you will likely spend a night looking at the stars! So of Course this stamp set, Friends are like Stars, really appeals to me!

Here is what I came up with:

I made two versions, the first is a little fun as I stamped the stars in Sapphire on the white ribbon:

The second is me I used the Mink Twine with a double Bow:


I also ad0ded Clear Shimmer to the stars and dots (hard to see in a picture):

Isn’t this little hedgehog so adorable!?! This card is really quick and easy to make with the Round foam and acetate from Close To My Heart!! I stamped the hedgehog and colored him with Shin Han markers.

I used the fern stitched ribbon on the top edge.

Here is my project for today:

I used both card bases to make this fun card.

I cut up the blue card base


The part I cut out of this card is just shy of 5 5/8 x3 1/2”.

Then I used the stamp set (which is a MUST HAVE) with Sapphire ink to stamp the sentiment and snowflakes.


I removed the plastic from the acetate circle and removed the top off of just the outer circle and placed the acetate on top (so the acetate is just stuck to the outer circle, not the inside pieces).


Then loosen back off of outer ring of adhesive and remove the acetate piece with the adhesive attached, leaving the small pieces still in tact to use later.


I placed the sentiment piece I made over the sentiment on the second card and decided to pop up my sentiment piece, so I used the small foam squares that I had left from taking off the circle foam (it REALLY does have everything included to have fun playing!).


I added the round stitched sticker frame for the top of the Shaker 

And even have a sticker for the outside of the envelope!

Mini Sewing project bookmark

Mini Project Bookmark Mouse!

Well, as promised here is a tiny sewing project:

I was asked to make some bookmarks and somewhere online I came across animal bookmarks, so here is mine:

Isn’t he so cute!?! I decided to use blue to give to a male. You can color with any colors you like!

Fold a 3 x 3” piece of Cardstock (I used White Daisy Cardstock, if using Cardstock make sure to use your bone folder and make sure to crease well and. Fold evenly.) Pattern paper can also be used..

Follow the pictures to fold:











Tuck the corners over the flap:

Now use a scrap and fold over end and cut out the shape you want your ears:

Cut them in half to have two ears:

Color the inside of your ears, nose and eyes with markers (I used Shin-Han alcohol markers):

Place a tiny bit of tape at the end of the ears and set aside:

Draw in some whiskers with a pencil and unfold:

Pierce holes on ends of whiskers and erase marks:

Use Silver Embellishing Thread to sew in the whiskers:

I just taped the ends on the inside:

Refill, add ears and enjoy!
